It features the very talented Adrian Cunningham (from Australia) on clarinet, tenor sax and guest vocals, stride pianist Ehud Asherie (from Israel) on piano Yasushi Nakamura (from Japan) on bass and Alvin Atkinson, Jr. on drums, who happens to be from the most International place of all--North Carolina! Wycliffe performs on trumpet, trombone, soprano and valve trombones and is featured on vocals. This album features many original compositions of Wycliffe's as well as hits made popular by Louis Armstrong. This album is comprised of tunes that evoke love and beauty and remind the listener that music is supposed to be--joyful and fun to play. Wycliffe's style harken's back to the traditional New Orleans jazz, with raspy Armstrong-like vocals and bold, vibrant passages on trumpet and trombone.
