MTV Europe Music Awards Nominee Oliver Sean is an International Portuguese Singer/Songwriter who thrived in the Goa, Dubai and the UK cultures as they acted as the backdrop to his youth, and the inspiration for his music. His discography with W.O.A. International was birthed in 1999 with his single ‘There She Is Again’ at the age of 17. Oliver Sean's media clippings have formed a career of their own. Since his career launched in his teens, Oliver Sean’s press clippings exceed several hundred features, snippets, and reviews in significant print and broadcast mediums including an AVMax Magazine nomination for ‘International Album of the Year’ along with albums by John Mayer, Robbie Williams, Kylie Minogue and Third Eye Blind for his debut album ‘I Like It’ in 2003. His brand of music is known for its pop/rock influence with contemporary undertones and subtle world music elements. Oliver Sean's eclectic global music style is the trademark for his brand, and is as exotic as his mixed Portuguese, Italian and Goan Lineage. A self-taught musician, Oliver Sean is a multi instrumentalist, singer-songwriter and composer. However, it is his distinctive percussive guitar style and powerfully seductive voice, which is his footprint on the music industry. His track record of being a hit songwriter is just one of his assets defining him as a pillar in the music community and led International publication ‘The Sun’ to call him ‘The Hottest International Offering from the shores of Goa’. Oliver Sean is a member of the Recording Academy and a Voting Member for the prestigious Grammy Awards. He has been selected by the Recording Academy twice in a row for the Grammy Nomination List for the 54th and 55th Grammy Awards. His last album ‘So Good’ (W.O.A Records 2011) has had several MTV and Vh1 Top 10 hits and in 2012 he was nominated for the MTV Europe Music Awards 2012 in the Best Worldwide Act category! As a composer and filmmaker, Oliver Sean has also been involved with writing music for the French Government, producing music for other artists, working on various film projects and directing music videos for artists from around the world that have been featured on Vh1, MTV etc. He has also composed the Soundtrack for a popular International foreign film released earlier this year and is currently working on a documentary about the urgency to protect Tiger's, based on the book 'Once upon a time there was a Wild Tiger' by Wanda Alvares. Oliver Sean has been on an extensive world tour since 2011 covering the entire Hard Rock Café chain and other top venues and TV/Radio shows in India and Dubai, which was followed by his US Tour in September 2012 where he headlined at legendary venues like Café Wha? in New York and the Whiskey a Go-Go in Los Angeles. His new single ‘All I Remember’ was also released simultaneously during the US leg of his tour in September of 2012 and a music video for the new single was filmed while covering his various performances in America – the video is currently a featured video on Vh1's International channels and various other networks since January 2013. Oliver Sean in now on a whirlwind United Kingdom Tour headlining at the very best live music venues in London, Edinburg, Oxford and Bath.
