Jaded of ostensibly hearing the same sounds time and again in techno these days. All wannabe the hardest, darkest, roughest and thoughest... Echoing the "Kemmi's groove EP" on F.O.S., Kemmi Kamachi delivers a new lil'3 track EP. Title track "Krank"s loopy acided baseline delivers a continiuos drive, as oddish percussive sounds start building up in the first part of the track. For 2 minutes the track changes atmosphere, as the baseline gets taken over by a groovy bleeping sound. Near the end of the track the initial theme comes back. All is supported by a heavy 808 kick. "Patternate" is basicly a 9 minute jam session made almost exclusively a Roland Tr-8. Expect plenty of 808 and 909 sounds. Pounding and percussive. The track "Roller" is again a typical Kemmi production. It starts deeper and transforms into a more energetic vibe with ever evolving bleebs. All tracks are extracted from Kemmi's live session performed at "Relish @ PIP, The Hague" on the 7th of March 2015.
