Township Rebellion does nothing else than deliver a banger with the newest Katermukke release. The talented duo creates a mysterious feeling with their sound via their energetic synths, heavy kicks, serious sound effects and progressive sound picture. Nevertheless are these elements combined in such a harmonic manner that the EP is perfectly on the red thin line between dreamy and dark. Not only musically is it stellar but does the arrangement of tracks tell a story of a crusade for hope - from the darkest times in ‚Static‘ to the heroic insurgency in ‚The Pipe‘ and the final uprising hope in ‚Red Planet‘. All in all something to keep an ear on.
